The maker's Process: Two Days of Dedicated Craftsmanship
Every element of this runner is crafted completely by hand over a meticulous two-day process:
Day 1: Artistry & Foundation-Hours are spent carefully rendering the delicate feathers of the swans using pencil, eraser, and pyrography techniques on vegetable-tanned leather. Once the artwork was completed and detailed with paint, the leather panels were mounted and stitched to a burlap cork base. To add more protection to the panels, strips of natural pig skin leather were creatively stitched into place.
Day 2: Structural Stitching- The entire piece is structurally secured with BARGE cement glue to a natural base cork, and hand-guided stitching, seamlessly stitching the edges of the layers.

Care & Shipping Instructions
Care: Simply wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth if a spill occurs. Do not submerge in water or place piping-hot cookware directly from the stove onto the leather without a trivet.
